Now a days computer has become an integral part of our day to day life. It is necessary to be literate in computer education not only for daily life but also for future prosperous life.

           Over the last few years the improvement of computer education has been quite remarkable and today its tremendous growth is beyond our imagination. Many schools and colleges are well equipped with computers in order to educate their students thereby making computers an indispensable part of education system. Computer education has revolutionized the learning world in a large way.

            In the year 2007 the Webel Informatics Ltd (A Govt. of  West Bengal undertaking –under the Dept. of Information Technology , Govt. of W.B.) has started college computer training centre  ( Jamini Roy College Computer Training Centre ) for fulfillment of our dream of spreading computer education among the poor and backward students of this area and preparing them to have a competitive edge in the global job market.

           It is a great pleasure that the students of our college are getting opportunities of computer education along with their general education within their college premises in a best academic atmosphere which will help them for their prospective career.
