With a tireless journey since
June, 1996 Webel Informatics Ltd, an educational
and training arm of West Bengal Electronics Industry
Development Corporation ( A Govt. of west Bengal undertaking
Since 1992 ) has been proceeding with a determinative zeal in
Bankura Sammilani College to reach a far-off destination in
the world of computer education. One of the essential
components of the basic Literacy now-a-days is the computer
education. Students from a backward area like the district of
Bankura have been making outstanding results every year in
Madhyamik and Higher Secondary. So, it is a matter
of great satisfaction when we see our students are getting
opportunities to adapt themselves with computer education at
college campus, their own academic environments along with
their degree courses.
I like to thank Sri Samiran
Banerjee , the co-ordinator of Bankura Sammilani College
Computer Centre of Webel Informatics Ltd. for his honest,
sincere and encouraging efforts to make the local students
well trained in computer education by offering Diploma &
Certificate courses through Webel Informatics Ltd. , and
making them fit to avail themselves of the job
opportunities in different spheres of society . The students’
enrolment capacity [600/ every year (approx)] ,offering 10%
discount to SC/ST/OBC students of their course fee and
supply with free study materials and notes are also
encouraging and praiseworthy.
It is also enthusiastic for the
local students when they see that their friends are getting
placements after campus selection. Some such examples of job-
areas where the students after getting passed from
here have been absorbed are :- Simlipal Youth Computer
Training Center, Panchmura Youth Computer Training Center ,
Jamini Roy College Computer Training Centre, Bankura Christian
College Computer Training Centre, Onda Youth Training Centre ,
Bankura Girls’ School , Mallabhum Mahila Kalyan Samiti etc .
